Star Wars Battlefront will not play Xbox one

This issue has been going on for a month now.

I have contacted EA and they have given me a number of things to try.

Basically, the game goes to the load screen and about 30 seconds to a minute and the system goes back to the home screen. on occasion it will say the game took too long to load and to try again.

Here are the fixes I was given.

1 - hard reset the xbox... did not work

2 - delete game profile, delete game and re install and recreate profile... did not work.

3 - bypass router - did not work

4 - clear cache - did not work

5 - clear alt mac address - did not work

so, I am fed up with this at this point. Not one solution has worked. anyone else have any thoughts?

my next step is simply return the game and demand a refund. paid $60 and my kid got to play it a total of 3 days... seriously regretting getting an Xbox this time around. wishing I bought the PS4 instead.

No error messages?, or just cuts out?.

I suggest getting an refund by calling support or going here
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us and selecting the "chat with Microsoft option", that's my opinion.

I've had a similar issue with FIFA. It eventually resolved itself, but I have no idea why and/or how it started or why it stopped.

I blame EA and their crappy demands for us to connect to their servers.

Just goes back to home screen. Sometimes say, "Star Wars Battlefront took too long to load, please try again"...

You can understand my frustration...

Going to run through EAs suggestions one more time and if that doesn't work, return it.

Ok. This is rediculous. I just got my kid Madden for Christmas. Guess what. That game doesn't work either. Wft???? So now two games and both don't work. I don't care if this is and EA game issue or XBox issue. I want it resolved.

Xbox is just now a year old.

 

Madden is another EA game but what error message are you getting?

Bare in mind EA sports games have their own age gate, contact them and ask me about it.

 

We purchased the digital version of Battlefront on the 23rd. The game downloaded successfully. We tried to run it for first time today and as was mentioned, the game goes to the load screen and about 30 seconds to a minute and the system goes back to the
home screen. In our case we have not seen an error message.

We uninstalled Battlefront and reinstalled, but the same issue occurs. Our other disk-based games work fine (i.e., Fallout, COD, Farcry, and Destiny) and the one digital game we have, Warframe, works as well.

Any suggestions?

No error message at all. Game looks like it starts to load then goes back to the Xbox one home screen.

 

What age is the person trying to play these games?

You do need to be 13 years or over to play on E.A's servers

 

1 - Account is in my name. So age is not an issue.

2 - my son is 15 so again, not an issue.

My issue is this,

I don't care if EA has an issue or not. Xbox supports these games and passing it off as an EA problem is not acceptable.

Xbox is responsible for fixing this issue.

I have always had PlayStation and bought Xbox one this time around instead of PS4 simply to give it a shot. I can say I don't see any complaints like this from PS4 users... So this is (regardless of game maker or not) and XBOX issue.

 

It's down to E.A. actually,especially since your having the same issue with another E.A. game.

Either that or there is something going on with your sons account that no one can figure out.

PS4 users are also having various issues with Battlefront as well so don't think the problems are exclusive to the xbox one.

Another thing to consider is your connection to xbox live
