Star wars battlefront ultimate edition did not come with codes for season pass

I brought this game on boxing day ( day after Christmas) came home and opened the package and found no season pass code in the case....obviously its opened so best buy wont take a return and Ea support turned me to you guys. I was on Xbox support chat the
same day I bought the game and they told me to wait 6-10 business days for the codes to be emailed to me. No email came. So I talked to another guy on Xbox chat support today and they said i need to post here? proof of purchase on hand please let me know what
i need to do or more details , but the case right on it that it should be there.

I think you got everything confused

Ok first since it's a retail game not a digital copy your retailer and ea takes care of all that

2nd only time ms handles seasons pass for a game from a 3rd party would be if you bought it with the console and that would be only thru your retailer

Retail codes are handled thru retail

If it was opened box well what did you expect

Actually you can go to bestbuy

If something is missing from a brand new in box game it is considered defective

They owe you a new disk if you bought it new

Unless it is open box or refurbished then they have no responsibility for the codes for you

This forums is for promotional Games and promotions

Which a ultimate edition game that supposed to come with it is a retail in box

it was a sealed game...Why is Xbox support sending me here then?

so you think I need to fight with best buy on this ? My problem is I waited 10 days because that is what Xbox support had me do, like best buy will believe me now but I guess try?

 

Phone and chat support tend to send people to the forums when it's something they don't handle directly. But since it is a physical product, Best Buy would be the ones who would have to set up an exchange for you. Most retailers won't just refund a physical
disc, but they should be able to exchange it for the same thing.
