Star Wars Battlefront to release "offline" mode July 20th

I'm waiting for this game to be added to the vault for EA Access before I delve into this game. Though I'm happy that there will be a offline portion by time it is added.

Not so, more like boycotting online only games, which to me is a dead expense.

Lest we forget, XBL has become a hangout for gamers looking to score brownie points with MS and devs by hosting modded sessions, and if they can't you to cheat. They'll start a war of words and as soon as you defend yourself. Have you banned.

So the only way to enjoy gaming, is not to play online. It is for that reason I am building a Nvidia gaming rig. That way if a ban ever comes my way, i can still surf the web etc. But with MS and Sony, that isnt possible!

You have restored my faith that there are some smart people here.

 

The new update is out and it's great.

If you really don't like playing online with other people then you can experience all your favourite Battles from the Original Star Wars Trilogy by yourself or sit down with a buddy and do it split screen co-op.

The difficulty levels are such that you'll be able to find one that suits your play style or your ego without any trouble at all.

If you're worried about level 50+ jobless raining on your parade with all their unlocks this certainly levels the playing field... and hopefully will help those who are put off the Multiplayer aspect gain enough confidence to actually give that a go because
it's still a pretty well balanced game in MP.

They really should have put this in from the beginning and told people that it was there.

This game didn't sell well according to a friend of mine who manages entertainment stock for a major supermarket chain and potentially the online only aspect of the game may have put a number of people off.

Well that's not a 'thing' anymore. Great "Star Wars" fun to be had.

 

The update came out a few days ago but I couldn't find this thread for the life of me lol.

It is quite fun but I had to crank the difficulty up as I was going 150 kills & no deaths.

Just wish you got xp as well but hey ho,still fun,especially if you don't want to play online.

 

Cheers for the reminder, mines digital so I forget I even have it unless I'm looking for something. Why I prefer physical media!
