    Star Wars Battlefront not working on 360


    Hi there,

    I have an older 360 not connected to Live, but with a Microsoft brand Xbox360 Hard Drive. I have installed the lasted update (June 2014) via USB flash drive, and witnessed the extraction process so I think it took. Just purchased SW Battlefront (first
    game) and the machine tells me the game is not playable on the 360, and to go to xbox.com/games to check for an update etc. The hard drive is an older on, less than 15GB total memory, and of that 11.3 GB available. Could this be the issue?

    Star Wars Battlefront not working on 360

    I think you may have a 3rd party hard drive and not a Microsoft brand one as you believe (some online retailers have been known to slap a sticker on it and call it official) because the smallest drive available for the old FAT consoles is 20GB.

    If you go out and purchase an official hard drive from your local retailer I think you'll find that you'll have no more issues.

    Hmmmmm. Possible, however this serial number links to a 20GB Microsoft HDD, one of the first they created. Says made in China, Could be counterfeit. This is the most likely cause yes? Seeing it would not have the built in emulator if not the real deal.....

    That would be the most likely cause. If you have a friend nearby who has an official drive, try heading over to their place and see if the game will work on their console.

    I love Star Wars, can't wait to play Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order. Also liked Star Wars Battlefront, although it deserved a single player campaign, as in Star Wars Battlefront II.
