Star Wars Battlefront II recieveing error 0x80040900 when trying to play co-op mode

Hi!

I got Star Wars Battlefront II for Christmas and I'm having a bit of trouble with it.

I can't play the game in co-op mode - When I select 'co-op' the screen dims and eventually returns the 0x80040900 error message.

I have tried:

- A power cycle

- Soft resetting the xbox

- Signing in and out of my xbox account

- Uninstalled and re-installed the game twice (the second time I installed the game on an external hard drive).

So I'm a little lost on what to do now to fix it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ive gotten the same issue. Ive done a reset on my xbox, that didnt solve it....ive uninstalled starwars battlefront 2 then reinstalled it....still didnt fix the issue

Try contacting the
EA Support Group for the game. They may have some additional things to try.

I contacted Microsoft Support (Online Chat) and it turns out you need an Xbox Live Gold Membership in order to use the Co-op features.

I've not paid for my account for a while so haven't tried this out yet, I'll get round to it when I have more gaming time!
