Star Wars Battlefront 2

I just finished playing this game and cannot believe how disappointed I was with the multiplayer. They challenge you to complete Milestones to which they award you credits, but nothing is available for you to spend those credits on. I know they got rid
of the microtransactions but it seems they got rid of everything else with it. Does anyone on here play this game online? What keeps you interested?

I share the exact sentiment with you...the game had a massive identity crisis at launch with regards to player progression in PvP..they've kind of fixed it but you still have to pay (with in game currency) rather than play and organically unlock your new
abilties...it's such a bummer cause it's such a pretty game. But i barely touch it as of now...maybe when the squad system revamp hits I may revisit it...

 

To be honest I found it underwhelming at best. I finished up the story, did a bit of multiplayer when stopped. I had really high hopes for the game but it fell flat for me.

 

As a Star Wars fanboy I like the story mode (despite the regular crashes).

Have tried some multiplayer but I didn't like the matchmaking, way too often I joined a game which was nearing it's end (so it was join, select character, spawn and mission completed in a few seconds).

 

I was more interested in the story. I read Inferno Squad leading up to the game's release so I was ready to continue Iden's story. As for the MP, I don't think it's anything worse than the first one. It's unfortunate that things turned out the way they
did. But that's their own fault. I don't play it much anymore.

 

I recently bought it for €10.00. I figure that's a fair price for q quick run-through of the story missions. EA dirtied up the Mp side of things. I'm kind of glad they did because it will be a while before we see that nonsense again.

 

I've found their lack of content quite disturbing....

Seriously though, I'd love to see them make a Knights of the Old Republic on this scale and quality level. Even if you still want to add a multiplayer piece thats fine just focus more heavily on a solid playable game.

Dream Star Wars game for me would be a mix between the couch co-op games like divinity(for camera controls) and the MMO SWTOR for the massive running story line.

 

That it was on sale a few weeks back including season pass was for me the reason to give it a try. And for that price it's a rather fun game.

 

i find the overall game play to be lack luster, i wish they could find that magic that made the series great on the original xbox, however when im feeling like i wanna get lost in the star wars universe i pop it in and try to enjoy the simplicity of the
game

 

I'd say I've had a lot of fun with this game- the aesthetics are wonderful, and I do like the gameplay in a couple of the multiplayer modes... and yet, I barely ever fire it up either, nor do I think it's ever likely to rejoin my regular rotation. I think
that's a combination of sharing your frustrations with the current state of multiplayer, disappointment over the self-inflicted wounds the game suffered over its post-launch course, and having so many other things I want to play a little bit more in the near
future anyway.

 

I wasn't a huge fan either but make sure you get this feedback to the devs on their forums as well!

 

I enjoyed the single player game a lot. I found the heroes MP to be fun, but the MP overall did not keep my interest for long.

 

Are you referring to mp or to the story as well?
