Star Wars Battlefront 2 Connection issues

Bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 from the xbox store as it was on sale 75% off.

Each time the game loads it says "You are offline" in top left hand corner of game menu.

When I try to connect the game menu becomes unresponsive to any controller input and the only solution is to restart the game.

I am unable to access any online features of the game multiplayer etc.

Paul from Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like you're unable to connect online with Star wars battlefront 2. I recommend performing a

Power Cycle on the Xbox One if that doesn't you could also try removing your profile from the Xbox then re-adding it. I hope this information was helpful in resolving the issue. Please let us know how it goes.

Howdy.

Apparently, the most recent game update introduced connection issues for the Xbox One. According to a post by the development team on the game's official forum (reading down the thread a ways), a fix for the Xbox version is in the works: Star Wars Battlefront II - Release Notes - October Hotfix

In the past week since the problem update, I've had the best luck in getting connected by launching the game, navigating to the square labeled "You are Offline - Connect for More Features." The game will become unresponsive for 1 to 2 minutes and then typically
display a connection error message. After dismissing the message, I can usually get connected after repeating the above process.

Good luck, and hopefully an update will be forthcoming soon.
