Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 don't work on 360

I bought Battlefront 1 and 2 yesterday, so that I could play the original Battlefronts not EA's Battlefronts. The issue though that i'm having is that when they download they get to 80% and then stop and says "Can't Download Star Wars Battlefront". Then
immediately following that message I go to my hard drive and see that the game comes up as corrupted. I've cleared my cache and I checked my router which my internet connection isn't the issue. Does anybody know how to fix this issue or know what's causing
Battlefront not to fully download?

Exactly! but I don't think Disney has an intrest for Any Star wars games at the moment. Even though if they did this Star Wars HD Collection Battlefront 1, 2, KOTOR 1 N 2 and Star wars Republic Commando for 45$ it would sell like hot cakes.

 

Hi! Does this happen with other games as well? By trying to download other titles you might be able to tell if the hard drive is broken.

 

This doesn't happen on any other games when downloading only on these two does this happen.

Sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing.

If you haven't yet, I would consult our support page entitled
Xbox Live content won’t download on your Xbox 360 console and see if that helps you out.

If you still have problems, I'd also try Solution 7 on our page
Xbox Live content won’t download on your Xbox 360 console and try to rollback your update.

Give those pages a look through, those steps a shot and let us know how that helped in resolution of the issue

I tried all of the listed solutions including solution 7, and it still downloaded to 80% and said it can't download.

 

Knights of the Old Republic II does the same thing.

Also, try to clear your system cache for the store.

Try to clear the system item

1. go to settings

2. system

3. storage

4. go to your hard drive/memory unit

5. system items

6. clear marketplace cache

Test the install of your games again.

Dang that sucks and that is a good game too.

 

I've tried the solutions for troubleshooting and tried erasing my cache for the store and still gets stuck at 80%.

 

Talked with support for two days on this. Factory reset console, deleted user profiles, removed and reinstalled update,cleared cache, verified authentic MicrosofHDD, tried downloading to USB device, downloaded other games that were playable from market,
tested and verified Xbox original game fusion frenzy runs and was downloadable from disk, verified region match with live account. Been waiting 3 days for info from support after they contacted offline team.

 

As I replied in another thread this recently has been a widespread issue with this game as many users are facing it and I guess there would be a fix real soon for this.

I would recommend deleting all local data that has downloaded for the game, then performing a full system reboot on your 360. From there please ensure that you have enough free HDD space for the game and attempt the download again, this should hopefully
resolve the issue

 

Well hopefully Microsoft can fix this issue cause its just really disappointing that us 360 users can't play, but Xbox One users can.
