Star Club - New Klondike Pack - Easy I - Puzzle 1 is UNSOLVABLE!

Brickdeath, thanks to the reply. I guess I'm lucky enough to post my complete walkthrough before your hints.

In hindsight that puzzle is not really that difficult, it's just the difficulty rating that threw me off. If it was put in the "Hard" category I could probably have solved it without complaining. It's all a moot point now since they've taken that puzzle
off and replaced it with a much easier one. I wonder how many out there actually solved the original puzzle like us did? I'm guessing probably fewer than 100.

I think for this pack many of the "Hard" (and some "Medium") puzzles are actually more challenging than the "Expert" ones. The developing team probably has the misconception that just because a puzzle is timed or moves-limited it has to be considered more
difficult than the other ones. :-(

There was only the original post when I first saw this thread. I guess I should've refreshed it after figuring out the challenge.

Easy I * Klondike * is solvable, I finished all 10 packs right now. Just try again !!

ProductDock0955, I've completed all 80 puzzles now. The one you mentioned is probably the trickiest one in the Expert level (all of them are actually easier than the "Easy" puzzle discussed in this thread, which they have sadly replaced with an actual easy
puzzle).

To solve the "700 points in 105 moves" puzzle, you need to know how the scoring system works. Basically each card move to foundation is worth 10 points, each card uncovering is worth 5, and each card pulled from the deck to the working area is worth 5 too.
In the beginning you have 21 covered cards and 24 cards in the deck, so the maximum score you can get in an untimed game is (52*10 + 21*5 + 24*5) = 745 points, and the minimum score you can get is (52*10 + 21*5) = 625 points.

To get 700 points, you need to get 75 points on top of the minimum 625, which means you need to pull 15 cards from the deck to the working area. Now we all know in limited moves puzzles like this one we want to save moves as much as possible and prefer to
move deck directly to the foundation, but bear in mind that in this one you can only do so for 9 cards out of the 24 in the deck.

In terms of moves, it means you are only allowed a maximum of (105 - 52 - 15) = 38 moves within the working area, which should be enough for manipulation purposes.

ProduktDock0955, did you solve the WHOLE 10 puzzles in the "EASY I" sub-pack of the "Klondike Collection Name" pack? I don't think so. You probably just solved one puzzle out of that pack, or solved the "EASY II" sub-pack instead. The puzzle I'm talking
about is the "Card Challenge" where you need to "Play 3 Fours to the Foundation". I don't think it is possible to be solved at all. You can prove me wrong by either posting a complete walkthrough, or capture a screenshot and show it here. But I highly doubt
you can do it.
