Standard Edition to Gold Edition

So I bought the standard edition of ESO and now the Gold Edition is on sale and I would like to purchase it. I'm just wondering if I do will all of my progress in the standard edition move over or will I have to restart the game?
Any thoughts would be helpful as I've never bought the next edition of a game I already have before. Thanks!

I used to own the gold edition. If I buy the standard edition again will I still be able to use the gold edition DLC?

Hi,

I bought Assassin's Creed Origins yesterday. I wanted to buy the Gold Edition of the game from the start but I made a mistake and bought the Standard Edition. When I realized it, I've returned to the store anb bought the Gold Edition.

I was thinking the system will do the math and at the end I would be charge only for the Gold Edition, but it's not the case.

So now I have the Gold edition but I have paid twice the standard Edition....

is it the standard edition or is it a deluxe/gold/goty edition with dlc or other add-ons bundled with it?

only the standard edition is backwards compatible so if you have any other edition it will give that error.

if it is the standard edition, let us know and well try and work out why it isn't working

Vitually any "gold edition" or other package that contains add-ons will contain the standard edition of the game. There is almost never a separate build.
