'Stacking' Xbox Game Pass subscription

Hi. I have an XGP subscription that isn't due to expire until June 2019. I received a voucher code for a 12-month subscription as a gift. If I add that now, will it be added onto the end of my existing subscription, meaning it won't expire until June 2020,
or do I have to wait until my current subscription expires before activating the new one?

The holiday offer game pass subscription can NOT stack you can redeem one per account per 12 month period.

Non promotional offer can stack.

 

Gold and Gamepass with Xbox All Access

Hi, yes your Xbox live gold and game pass should stack on each other so you'd have a total of a 1 year subscription and don't have to worry about it for a long time.

But if you've paid by card then a prepaid card won't let you stack that

 

If your current subscription is paid for by a prepaid code card, they will stack and yes, you can use it and it will add the 12 months to your subscription and it will expire in June 2020. Go ahead and enter it here:

If you currently pay for the Game Pass subscription with a credit/debit/paypal/bank payment method, you will have to wait until that runs out (and you have to stop the auto renew, which can be done on this page here:

https://account.microsoft.com/services/ ) - at least if it's still that way. You could try and see if you get an error code if this is the case, or it will work and you won't be billed until those 12 months are up on the gift card.

HelloGenjira X, Just to add to what's already been said, You can stack GamePass and Xbox Live Gold up to 36 months as long as its through a prepaid card, credit card and not a trial of some sort
