    Is it possible to set up the xbox one elite controller without pc?

    I know that i need the Xbox Accessoires App for windows 10.. But i dont have a pc and i was wondering if i can set up the different buttons of the controller over the Xbox itself?

    Sorry for my english i want to buy the controller for my boyfriend.. But the additional buttons are useless if he cannot set up them personally..

    How to replace xbox elite controller without console?

    I've got "stick drift" problem with my xbox elite controller. Is there any way to replace or repair it? I can't register my controller on xbox support site without console. But i haven't xbox one, because of playing on PC..

    Hi Neecko92,

    Seems like the only workaround now is to connect your Elite controller to a Xbox One console, and update your Elite controller via the Xbox One console. Then it will work on your PC again.

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    The original XBox Elite controller requires the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 so without that adapter it will not be recognized properly by Windows. The newer, Elite Series 2 can connect to a Windows 10 PC without the need of an adapter.

    i know this is his question but he said elite controller to a adapter not a regular xbox one controller on the link it says how to connect adapter from pc to xbox one controller he needs a elite controller adapter because all he is finding is regular xbox
