    SSD drive not recognized anymore

So I was using my SSD in an external enclosure and one day it just decided to stop seeing the drive. I have 2 xbox one consoles and neither of them see the drive anymore. I plugged it into my computer and it sees it right away. I've tried three different
external enclosures and none of them work. Any suggestions? Are SSDs not supposed to be used with the Xbox One? I've done a fair amount of research and have seen a fair amount of peopel using them so I don't think that's the case. Help appreciated. Thanks.

    :)

Xbox X not support USB SSD?

So got my Xbox X today, totally happy, until i booted it and noticed my SSD (USB3.0) isn't recognized anymore. Tried both the back USB ports as the front one, none will see the drive (does gets power and gets a quick initialization).

Booted my Xbox (day one) back up, still works there.

Is that a feature that USB SSD's are not supported anymore, or just a bug atm?

    External Hard Drive

What type of drive is it? SSD or disk? Have you tried a different USB cable? Sometimes those go bad. If you have an external disk drive if they get bumped while in use that can ruin those. Plus some of the cheaper SSD's can get corrupted. Is you xbox recognizing
the drive? Need more enough to try to help.

External Hard Drive Not Recognized Anymore

Thanks for your reply! I did try that out, it does recognize other usb/external hard drives, so I'm thinking the problem is more with this particular hard drive that suddenly isn't being recognized anymore.
