Spyro Reignited Trilogy saving problems

Hi everybody.

I bought Spyro for my Xbox One and I'm loving the game, but I'm having a very huge and annoying problem. The game keeps deleting partially my saving data and I have read that someone else is having the same problem.

How could the problem be fixed? Is it a bug related to Xbox? (I've read no complaints from PS4 user) Will it be fixed? I love the game, I can't just play something else, and Xbox support chat has been useless...

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

If that doesn't work try contacting the game's support group to see if it is something on their end.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'd be happy to try and help.

So you say that the game is deleting your saved data or it's just not being saved? When you start up the game do you start from the beginning or from the last time you saved the game? Do you save it to the internal hard drive or to an external HDD?

Also are you connected to and Internet connection? Your game saves are also saved to the Xbox Cloud Storage and backup your saved data there in case something happens to the internal data.

I recommend to
power cycle your Xbox.

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button
   on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

If that doesn't help then I recommend to re-install the game.

Thank you for the reply (and also to {Parity} ).

I have no external hard disk, all the saving are on my Xbox. I have internet connection but the account I am using for playing Spyro is not registered to Xbox live.

Let me be more detailed in describing the problem:

Last Saturday I played many times during the day, switching my Xbox off between a session and another one, everytime I came back playing without experiencing any problem. But when Sunday I turned on my Xbox I found the saving data partially missing. Saturday
I had finished Spyro 1 and I had begun Spyro 2 (completing about 30% of the game), Sunday when I pressed on "continue the game" I found out written that I had completed only 70% of Spyro 1 and 0% of Spyro 2!!! I tried turning off and again on my Xbox but
nothing changed.... My data where gone! Despite the delusion and the anger I played again Spyro 2 on Sunday, reaching about 40% of the game. But today (Monday evening) as I came home from university and started playing, just to find out the same problem: all
my progress done yesterday on Spyro 2 are gone, just 1% was left.

If I have not been clear enough, the strangest thing is that if I exit the game, switch off the console and come back later in the same day, everything looks fine, but the after a night (during which my Xbox One is kept off, obviously) the saving data of
the previous day are almost all gone (not only those of the last game session).

However I'll try the power off cycle and I'll let you know if the problem will be fixed.

Even if your account is not subscribed to Xbox Live Gold, your are still always connected to the Xbox Live Servers if you have a solid internet connection and your data is still saved to the Xbox Cloud Storage as well.

Is this the only game on the same account and Xbox that is not saving correctly?

This could be a hard drive issue but we need to try all of the available options available before we consider a hardware issue with the hard drive.

After the power cycle I recommend re-installing the game and if that doesn't solve the save problem then you will need to try a

soft factory reset while keeping games and apps. Make sure you have the correct account login information as you will need to re-download your profile during the set up.

I think I have some other problems with my Xbox account, because I've checked and it doesn't display Spyro between my games, and also says that the last time I played is last Friday (and it displays the objectives I've reached up to Friday). Tomorrow I'll
check if I can find what's going on -.-

Next time i'll be sure everything is saved on the cloud

 

That is very strange indeed.

Try doing the hard reset as mentioned before and I would also do a hard reset of your router/modem to see if it triggers it. Let us know if any of that worked.

 

Try reinstall the game and try clearing cache. Put
your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .

I've done the hard reset and then reinstalled the game (it took almost 2 days with my low internet connession). But know I've been plays for a couple of days and the problem hasn't reappear.

I just wanted to say that this issue is also happening to me and it's been happening to a lot of other people as well.

I had 120% on spyro the dragon and it dialed me back to 108% and totally deleted my riptos rage data. What's the point in playing a game that can't save
