Spotify on Xbox One

I know Sony has the exclusive rights at the moment, but MS you need to pull out all the stops to get this app. I'd love to be able to queue music on my phone and have it play on my Xbox while I play a game and right now, that functionally isn't there. It
would be enabled with Spotify though. It could be the difference between someone getting a PS4 or an Xbox One.

I know this is the wrong forum for this topic but we need as many spotify users as possible for this one.

Since background music is a thing now it would be awesome to use spotify on your Xbox One.

so who do i complain to to microsoft in order for them to strike a deal with spotify on xbox one? i have spotify and i was playing on a PS4 the other day and was using spotify while playing COD. loved it! please microsoft make a deal with spotify and make
an app for xbox to use so i can listen to my EDM music while kicking it up in halo 5. peace!

Its like asking Microsoft to get Uncharted on the Xbox One, Sony has exclusive rights, it aint going to happen.

Plus I highly doubt someone looks at an Xbox One and a PS4 and says:

"Which one to get?, the Xbox One is cheaper, and it comes with a few free games. But this one has Spotify!!"

As many people love to say on anything to do with consoles, its all about the games, which one has most exclusives.

Oh yeah I forgot this forum was full of fanboys who can't take critique of a console they didn't make. I'm sure Microsoft looks at this forum and looks for critique though.

It's hardly fanboyism if your looking to buy either console I personally don't think having Spotify would be high on the agenda when it comes to choosing which console to purchase!

Also if you think anyone from Microsoft looks on these forums your deluded !!

Who was being a fanboy? all I said was that if Sony has the exclusive rights to Spotify then there is no way Microsoft will be able to get it on the Xbox One.

I also said that in my opinion a console having Spotify isn't a high priority, again not very "fanboyish".

If you had said the Xbox One was rubbish and I had responded with "no its the greatest console ever, its even better than the best high end PC gaming rig" that would have been "fanboyish".

Besides I think the PS4 is a great console, I won one, but only use it for exclusives. I prefer to use the Xbox One for everything else as I have never liked the PS controller (plus the light bar on the PS4 controller is a crazy idea, but that's another
story)

Download Spotify from the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One.
Log in one of these three ways to play:
- With
  Spotify Connect.
- With your Spotify email address and password.
  
  Note: If you usually log in with Facebook, use Spotify Connect to log in instead.
- Select LOG IN WITH PIN. Then, on your phone or computer, go to
  www.spotify.com/pair and enter the pin you see on your screen.

Did it auto sign you out of the xbox one spotify app even though the day before everything worked great, then you try to sign in with the correct email and password but it still says invalid email or password? This happened to me awhile back. I had to
go to the spotify page on my tablet and reset the spotify password. Now the xbox one version works fine.
