Spotify offer on ultimate pass subscription

I recently initiated the ultimate gamepass offer. After completion I tried to start the spotify premium offer and was rejected due to a previous premium trial. I would've been ok with that if warned that was a possibility to begin with. But, with no fair
warning and spotify unwilling to honor the promotion after contacting them, I've decided to share this experience simply because I'm tired of deceitful promotions and customer service departments only reply being" I'm sorry, unfortunately there's nothing I
can do about it". As a result of my experience I've deleted spotify from all my devices, and would encourage others who have to deal with these types of business practices do the same. But more importantly I'm looking for a way to contact Microsoft over the
matter but can only find virtual agents, chat, and discussion boards. Any info would be greatly appreciated on how to contact Microsoft with a letter via email would be appreciated.

It looks like the offer is for new Spotify users only, including if you have used Spotify in the past and let your subscription expire.

That's the standard catch with "introductory" or "free trial" offers -- they're meant to get new customers to try a service for the first time. The same is true for Game Pass Ultimate deals (ie 1 month for $1 or 2 months for $2), you can't have an active
subscription to take advantage of the deal.

Are you physically located in the US or the UK? The Spotify offer is only available in those two regions. Have you subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate before? If you've subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate previously using any other offers or are renewing
the subscription, then you won't be eligible.
