    Spotify keeps lagging/cutting out on XBox One


    It keeps lagging/cutting out at least once EVERY SINGLE song.

    I've done the following:

    1. Power cycled the XBox - Done this dozens of time. Doesn't help.

    2. Power cycled my router - Again, done this many times. Doesn't help.

    3. Power cycled the modem - See step 2.

    4. Hard reset the modem/router - See step 3

    5. Uninstalled/reinstalled Spotfy on the phone - Tried this. Doesn't help.

    6. Uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify on the XBox - Just did this about 20 minutes ago for about the 8th time. Still does it.

    7. Use Spotify on the Xbox WITHOUT using the phone - Tried this and it started cutting out within a minute of starting.

    Why does Spotify have such a horrible performance when streaming music, yet I can stream movies in 1080p for 2 hours each with no issues whatsoever?

    Constant xbox live issues since yesterday

    ever since last night, when there was an xbox live status warning up, i have been having constant problems. Party chats lagging out, voice chat constantly cutting out, online games Lagging out. its still happening tonight even though the warning status isnt
    on anymore. its impossible right now to talk in party chats or private chats because it just keeps cutting out . my connection is completley fine and hasnt changed, so i just thought id post it about here and maybe the xbox team can check it out again because
    i dont think the server issues have been fixed from yesterday as im still getting them Spotify keeps lagging/cutting out on XBox One :(

    hi i also found a audio glich where it keeps cutting in and out relly qwick after playing for a while but only during races.

    All bug i found are on xbox one

    Hi Drewdude, is this still happening to you? If so, what are your settings on the console's audio settings page? Are you listening to music with speakers or headphones?

    Keep in mind that there are known issues with Spotify - these are ones that have been on-going for a while.

    If this persists, it would be best to report the unexpected behaviour to both the Spotify and Xbox teams so that it can be properly addressed in an update. Be sure to include any helpful info such as your specific console model (Xbox One or Series X|S), the OS version and the app version you’re currently on.

    You can find the console OS version in Settings > System > Console info. The app version can be confirmed by highlighting the app in question (Spotify) to access the menu > Manage app. The latest version for Spotify on Xbox is 2.23.23.70

    To report this to the Xbox devs, create a bug report for the error and select Reproduce with advanced diagnostics. You can add [Xbox Forums] to the title of the report, then share this here once complete.

    You should also contact Spotify Support and perhaps post on the Spotify Community Forums with a direct link to this thread for reference.

    i could'nt retrive my profile.i got it back after about 4 hours of trying.i have also checked guide and all seems ok.during the network test the first 2 parts are ok it just fails on the last part (live).i am also using a wired connection.thanks.
