Spotify issues with xbox series x

I just hooked up my new xbox series x and spotify or sound cloud do not put out 5.1 like my xbox one did. Not happy about it.

I get this same problem but with Spotify on my Series X, the download refuses to start properly.

It goes into the queue, but it doesn't download any data, and it says the download speed is 50 kbps and lower, I had this issue with the Microsoft Store as well, where it would not start properly, but constantly pop up with updates.

It would not be a Saved Games issue either, because I got the Series X 2 days ago meaning the only saves on it are from the last 2 days.

3. ONLY the Xbox-Series X has this issue, No other, including the Series S which is the “little brother” of the Series X

Are you sure, that the Series S is not affected?

It's the xbox series x I'm having the issue with. Also my brother has the same issue with the xbox series x.

Keep in mind that there are known issues with Spotify - these are ones that have been on-going for a while.

If this persists, it would be best to report the unexpected behaviour to both the Spotify and Xbox teams so that it can be properly addressed in an update. Be sure to include any helpful info such as your specific console model (Xbox One or Series X|S), the OS version and the app version you’re currently on.

You can find the console OS version in Settings > System > Console info. The app version can be confirmed by highlighting the app in question (Spotify) to access the menu > Manage app. The latest version for Spotify on Xbox is 2.23.23.70

To report this to the Xbox devs, create a bug report for the error and select Reproduce with advanced diagnostics. You can add [Xbox Forums] to the title of the report, then share this here once complete.

You should also contact Spotify Support and perhaps post on the Spotify Community Forums with a direct link to this thread for reference.
