Spotify Audio Issue

When I launch Spotify while playing a game, it cuts off all game audio. It used to play both Spotify and game audio. I want to be able to listen to music while hearing what is going on in a game.

Audio doesn't work

My audio for Netflix, YouTube and sky have stopped working entirely, but my audio for Spotify works fine, why?

Spotify wont start on xbox one X

Ambassador and Alpha insider here, 2 consoles. Primary is in alpha (xbox S), secondary is in Delta (xbox X- /Wife's Primary console). Spotify runs beautifully on Xbox S in Alpha. Spotify stopped working on xbox X in Delta.

1st issue:

Loading Spotify would only bring an infinite load screen on the Spotify splash with the loading dots.

Attempted fixes:

Hard power cycle console, (with unplugging power source). Tried 4 times total on more than one day.

Console is constantly up to date, so is Spotify.

No current Xbox Live issues during these events.

Uninstalled Spotify, hard power cycle, reinstalled Spotify. Even tried hard power cycle after second installation. After first reinstallation, a 2nd different issue presented itself.

2nd issue:

After completing the 1st uninstall/hard power cycle/reinstall, Spotify will no longer load. I now get the error code: 0x800705b4

I will update with any further issues or info.

Thank you for reaching out. We understand you have recently encountered an issue in which the audio slider on your console is only affecting your Xbox sound and not your Spotify volume. If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a simple

factory reset on your console. Make sure to select the variant which allows you to keep your games and apps. Additionally, you can always contact
Spotify Support, and make sure this isn't unique to your setup. Cheers!

So recently I realised something wrong and broken in spotify. The Audio slider, on the xbox one version of spotify,dosent work for me. It did for months and know it just stopped. Basically, Whenever I turn up or down the audio slide it dosent change the
Volume of the song. I could use the xbox audio, not spotify, but it effects my game. Someone please HELP

Sorry to hear about this. What you can do is simply try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
