Spotify app for Xbox One

Discus and support Spotify app for Xbox One in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Wouldn't it be cool if the xbox one had a spotify app and we could listen to music while we play?     Spotify app for Xbox One


    Wouldn't it be cool if the xbox one had a spotify app and we could listen to music while we play?

    I found this on the Spotify website where people were asking for a possible app:

    "Hello everyone. Staff here. We're excited to see so many folks excited about this idea. We don't comment on any potential partnerships until they happen. Unlike other ideas, we can't promise kudos will lead to an implemented idea but please feel free to
    add your comments. We'll be sure to update this idea if and when we have more to say. Thanks for the idea!"

    I hope we do get it one day since it would be one of my most used apps

    Try and Spotify to Xbox One?

    Hey D4rk,

    I am an active Spotify user myself and would love to see an app on Xbox Live.

    The best thing to do is visit the Uservoice site and add your vote for the feature. I've gone ahead and provided a direct link to the topic below.

    Spotify on Xbox One

    I know this is the wrong forum for this topic but we need as many spotify users as possible for this one.

    Since background music is a thing now it would be awesome to use spotify on your Xbox One.

    Spotify can sign up for ID@Xbox and make an app just like Plex is doing.

    If I was going to use one of those services, I would use Xbox Music. It has 10 million more songs than Spotify. It has 92,000 music videos, so on the Xbox One, if a song you select has a video it'll play it. It's got offline playlists. Online storage for
    your own tracks has been announced. In the UK, it's £1 a month cheaper than Spotify premium too.

    But yes, I would agree that a Spotify app would be good. All new apps are welcome IMO!

    Spotify is the only app I use on my phone. I'd welcome it. I actually listen to my music on Youtube as both never have any trouble finding any deathmetal band I want to listen to.

    Sorry but Spotify has no intention to bring their services to the Xbox, they have an exclusive partnership with Sony.

    Spotify should be available with Xbox, you may need to go to the app store and install the most recent version or update you through your game and apps. If you have an earlier version and it is not working/updating, you should uninstall it and head to the
    app store to install the latest version and see if that fixes any issues.
