hello Microsoft. I have noticed that gamers all over the place have had issues with there consoles switching on by themselves. It's been happening to me now for a little while too. But first time round was not funny as you can imagine. Can somebody explain
why the console does this please.

Let's try troubleshooting this issue by following these steps. Let me know how it works out for you!

1.) Let's make sure that the power brick is plugged directly into the wall outlet and not into a surge protector/power strip so that the console can get the power that it needs. If you had just plugged it directly into the wall outlet, let's now check to
see if the console is still powering on. If that still doesn't work, let's try step number 2.

2.) Let's go to Settings>Power & Startup>Power mode & startup>Change Power mode to Energy Savings and now let's see if the console is still turning on by itself.
