    So I'll try to write this as to not give many spoilers. If you don't want to know what happens in the end of the Mage's Guild quest line, look away [SPOILER] The Mad God's Bargain (Mage's Guild) - Crash Issue :)

    ********************SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!**********************

    I made my decision on whether to save Valaste or not and I decided the crazy lady had to go! Once I made my decision, I got the book and the loading screen then came up to which I think it was supposed to take me to current day Eyevea. Well, during that
    load screen, the game crashed and sent me back to the main screen. Once I got back on, selected my character, loaded the game, I was outside with Shalidor and he gave me the power to remember all the books/scrolls/etc.

    From what I've read, you're also supposed to get 2 skill points if you send Valaste away. Can anybody tell me when these were supposed to be rewarded? I never received them before the crash and also didn't receive them when Shalidor gave me my new ability.

    Did I just lose out on 2 skill points or do they come at a later point or did I read wrong and you actually don't get 2 skill points? I only sent her away to get the skill points, so it really sucks.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Not entirely. If you're talking about Amy, I'm not really into that, though the katana and armor is pretty cool. I'm pretty fantastic with just Amy though. Also, Bethesda should have just decided to go with elaborate names for all the guilds like
    they did with renaming the Mage's Guild The College of Winterhold (yes yes, I know the Mage's Guild is defunct and all, but still). Just call The Companions something like The Whiterun Company or something.

    I feel stupid, but after playing again I found that I had to Use the Folium to get the 2 skill points.

    It's part of the mages guild quest. I killed all of the dragon priests and got the special mask.

    I'm assuming by fishing jobs your referring to the thieves guild quest lines (Please DON'T post spoilers) but what seems to be the issue? If you can't explain without spoilers, PM me as I have done all the thieves guild.

    Ahhh, nice. Thx for that tip. At least that way you'll have some idea where to look for the next Dragon Priest when you're ready to hunt them down. Excellent.
