(Is not possible to transfer purchases, licenses, progress, Xbox profiles or similar)

you should have created him is own account as a child account, nothing can be split from your microsoft account and he will have to start new. i made my kids their own accounts when they were 2 and 3 and so forth, now they are adults and their accounts converted to adult accounts.

you can keeo the console as your home console and he can access the games etc from his new profile but yes he will need to start over.

Should you have purchased the game from the Minecraft website there is a transaction ID on it that the Minecraft Support can check. As what Francia J. mention on one of her responses, the Microsoft account will display the game license you have bought from Xbox.com website or Microsoft Store. If you have purchased the game from Microsoft, then the game's achievement will be save on your profile (Xbox Profile) and license (Microsoft Account | Order History) will show in your Microsoft Account. Otherwise, you have been playing the game with an active Xbox Game Pass subscription and if this subscription is discontinued you will need to buy the game or re-subscribe to Xbox Game Pass.

By the way, there is no need to provide your transaction ID here as only Minecraft Support has a tool for that. We look forward for your response.

Are you really an adult? I ask because changing your Microsoft account birthdate does not change your Xbox profile birthdate. If you are actually a child and just changed your Microsoft account birthdate to be an adult, it will not work since the Xbox profile birthdate will remains the same.
