Split Screen 2 local player not working

I’m trying to play 2 local player on Forza 7. I select split screen then the 3 little lines for player 2 sign in and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Game suggestion

Minecraft is a 2 player split screen game (also up to 4-play split)

Borderlands 2 is also split, think racking games, fighting games, you could play a game that doesn't require a split screen to be a local game like FIFA, WWE, NHL, NBA etc

Why is MS trying to kill local multiplayer?

Split screen is a dying thing. Most people play online multiplayer these days and don't bother with split screen. Now I like split screen, as it's always a fun time playing with friends and family. But, the way gaming is going, they're going to focus on
online rather than local.

But, expect to see some games with split screen added on. It all relies on the developers working it in.

Hello!

Very few games offer split screen for more than 2 players. The only games I've really seen that do are local co-op games (non-split screen) designed for playing with friends.

Anyone remember Goldeneye on N64? that had 4 player local play and whilst it was good fun, the screen split into 4 made the view to small (at least for me) - I find 2 player split screen to small as it is.

OP. I understand why you want to have 4 player... but doesnt seem to be possible

It ultimately depends on which game you are trying to achieve this on.

For example, Halo 5 does not support split screen at all, Halo Reach (which is backwards compatible) supports 4 player split screen and Forza Motorsport 7 supports local 2 player split screen.

If you could tell us which game you are trying to play with 3 players and how many consoles those 3 players are spread across, that would really help us to help you.
