    Split Payment with Paypal? Xbox One


    I have some left over funds in my Microsoft account that will expire on saturday. I already have a paypal acount set up on my xbox account.

    I go on xbox one to buy a game. It pulls up the money I have in my account. It then comes up with a screen that I need to add a credit card to complete the transaction. Their is no option for me to select my paypal account to pay for the rest?????? The
    same thing happens online

    From the start instead of using the money in my account I can have it change to my paypal account. But that scares me because it says its going to charge my paypal account the amount of the game.

    How do I do a split payment with paypal? This really shouldn't be this confusing.

    It will split it. Buying BF4 premium split payment across my card and the money remaining in my balance.

    Definitely not right, my payments have always split, any credit left on the console is used and then the rest goes on your card

    Is PayPal set up on your Xbox One as a valid payment method?

    Go to Settings>Payment&Billing>Payment Options

    If not, you can add it at that screen by pressing Add PayPal

    Paypal not listed as an option to pay the remainder of the purchase.

    You have to choose, PayPal or Credit/Debit card as primary method of payment, then you will get the option to split payment between MSC and PayPal and Credit/Debit card.

    The suggestion worked for me to. I talked to a customer rep and it seems the Paypal is not allowed for partial payments. A credit card is required for split payments.

    Did you pay the full amount with the currency or did you split payment with a credit card/Paypal?

    If you split payment, you're not charged until within 10 days of the game's release, which is why you would be charged now.

    yeah same boat, I found this on the xbox main website but its the last bit that concerns me , I don't want to go to purchase and find out the game Im buying isn't available for split payment
