    Split payment option not appearing.


    I have $15 local currency on my Microsoft account. Unfortunately tax keeps me from purchasing any $15 item with only my account funds. I have no qualms splitting the difference between my account and card, but when I attempted to buy Ultra Street Fighter
    4 last week I did not receive this option. I had my card selected, and after doing some research I was pretty confident I had to select "Confirm Purchase" before it asked me if I'd like to split the difference. So i hit confirm purchase and.. it doesn't ask.
    It just charges my card $15.

    I was annoyed, but I got over It. But now I'd like to purchase something else. Another $15 item that, because of tax, I'd need to split the payment between my account and card. But i'm not looking to throw away another $15 because the console doesn't want
    to ask me to split. Any idea why it didn't ask me last time? I want this item but am hesitant to attempt purchasing.

    I'm having trouble purchasing Xbox Live Gold through my Xbox one. I have a card attached to my account but whenever I try and purchase Xbox Gold my payment option doesn't appear. Instead it promps me to add a new payment method. Even if I remove it and add
    it through there it doesn't have the region I'm in ,not allowing me to proceed. I'm only able to add the card through account live.

    I'm afraid that does not help. As I stated I had my card selected, and it still did not prompt me to use my account funds.

    Not all items can be purchased using a split payment so that may be the issue. Unfortunately there's really no way to know if it will work without trying.

    I know Ultra Street Fghter 4 could be bought with split payment. Others have purchased it that way. "Just try" is not good enough, because the only way of trying is to risk throwing away another $15..

    Not all items can be purchased using a split payment so that may be the issue. Unfortunately there's really no way to know if it will work without trying.

    I don't know if this is the place to give UI feedback, but if anyone involved in that is reading this I would suggest indicating that this is the way it works somewhere in the purchasing process. As far as I can tell, there is no mention of this option until
    you press "confirm purchase" on a screen that also says "no refunds" with only the credit card shown as the payment option, which makes it understandable that people would be weary of proceeding beyond this screen without coming here.
