Splinter Cell games enhanced for the Xbox one x/series X

I'm a big fan of the 1st 4 splinter cell games, I still have the 1st 4 games from the 2001 Xbox, (it died early 2018). I just watched part of an SCDA video that said enhanced on the header, it was being played on the series X, and it was the same game as the OG X, (not the PC/360 version). I would be willing to buy this game to play on the series X, it looks so much better than the original.

I'm currently relearning to play SCPT on the series X, the graphics appear grainier than I remember from the original. I'm guessing SC1 is the same I haven't started SCCT or SCDA yet.

I would be willing to eventually buy any of the 1st 4 SCs from the 2001 X that were enhanced for the Xbox one x/series X.

Any Splinter Cell players having answers to my questions would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the download to complete and does the console tell you when the install is complete

Hi,

This would depend on your download speed through your network connection. Perform a network test and if it’s slow, then you may want to connect to another network (a mobile hotspot, perhaps?) or reset your router. Changing the DNS in advanced network settings on your console can also help. For example, you can try the Google DNS server: Primary 8.8.8.8 and Secondary 8.8.4.4

Your download speed can vary, but is based on the speed offered by your ISP for the bundle you’re currently on. The time it takes to download something can also be affected by various factors such as the time of day, your area, number of devices connected to the network and weather it’s a wired or wireless connection (wired is generally more ideal and preferred).

Both games linked above are around 5GB on console. So the download can take anywhere between a few minutes to an hour (really shouldn’t take much longer than that, even on slow connections).

Yes, if you have notifications enabled (they’re on by default), then the console will let you know as soon as the game is installed and ready to play

OK, what is smart delivery?

Is that download software from Xbox Live or something else?

Thing is it never did notify me that the D/L was complete. Once I started the game after reading the [how smart delivery works] the game began and Installing disappeared from the screen. So, I'm confused again, did the install complete? I thought Launch the game meant starting it.

Is it possible to try and reinstall it if there is/was an error during the install process?
