My Xbox has already lots of problems due to me neglecting it getting cleaned due to being a bit too short on money, but a few hours ago i spilt some coke into the left side of it when it was plugged in, it wasn't on but the HDMI cable and the power source cable where in and it had been on an hour prior, so i wiped up the mess and carried on with my life after a few hours, now i turn it on, it boots up normally and i decide to play PVZ GW2 (don't ask its fun) and its usually deep fried graphics looked a bit blue, so i turned it off and took the cables out because i got scared and decided it should best be answered here

i think i should definitely take it to get it looked at but i wanted to know if someone could give me peace of mind until i can?

i would call it a day, even if you took for repair and they sonic cleaned the board it will most likely be done in, as coke eats everything as the sugar content is pretty much a killer for circuits. you could get it cleaned and any done in components changed but it may still fail a little further down the line.

i work in a repair center that focuses on desktops, laptops, consoles, tablets etc etc, by far the worse and most likely perm damage is from milk and acidic drinks.

O noes its blue just like Fallout 3 is tinted green Fallout NV is Orange and Human Rev is Yellow. Play the game and stop *** about what color tint is.

if it was less than a teaspoon and it only hit the fins, tilt the console in a way that any "excess" will flow away from the console and out, that little liquid... you may be lucky and it causes no lasting damage!

Keep us posted though, hopefully it survives, i've been lucky and spilt a coke can around my console and it survived for a year after
