    Spilled some soda on my one x


    So silly me I spilled like 3 drops on my Xbox one x and was wondering if I should be worried? I heard that the xbox one was spill resistant but just wanted to know if I should be alright thanks in advance

    Sticky liquids and electronics are never a good combination. You can try to clean the exterior with a lenses cleaner and cloth but that's about it. If anything got inside there's nothing you can do except contact support and request a repair as was pointed
    out above. The repair would be out of pocket however since damage caused by the end user are not covered by the warranty.

    I guess it would depend on where it spilled. If your console is horizontal, it shouldn't matter.

    yeah my console was laying down and it was like 3 drops across the top so I should be good?

    If it works then consider yourself lucky. Spilling water isn't that bad since it can be dried, but with soda it will leave the syrup behind.
