Spent £429.99 on Xbox one a month ago

Just found out today that they are reducing it by 29.99 and give away Titanfall.

Whats the chance of a refund of the £29.99 or get discount off of Titanfall. I feel ripped off an cheated.

How hard is that for people to understand?

 

Somewhere between a snowball's chance in ***, and pig's flying. That is to say, unless you purchased it in a store, which may have a return policy you can take advantage of...

By the same reasoning, every game I've purchased that went on sale after 30 days would be compensatable, when in reality, it was just bad luck/timing.

 

Got to be said it's taking the *** a little.

3 months in and a price reduction of £30.00 and the most anticipated game for the system.

Screw you early adopters....

 

When this happened to Xbox 360 if you had a receipt proving you paid full price you got a free game let's hope they do the same here

 

The 360 had a larger price cut, and it happened earlier.

 

Ignore me - I was thinking about the original Xbox's early price cut!

 

I remember that, it was about £100 and they gave is the option of a few games. I knew I should of waited, but me being a big kid, had to have it at as soon as possible.

 

I am also really annoyed about this.

I only bought my console mid January, and one of the games I stuck with Xbox for was Titanfall.

I paid £450 for my console with Fifa 14, not a fan of Fifa games but for extra £20 it was worth getting. Now, the console will be dropped in price and there will be a free game (game I actually really want, especially after playing the beta version, could
well be a COD killer in my opinion).

So effectively I will be spending £500 for a console and game, and if I had waited a month I would have just paid £400.

We all expect tech to drop in price, its what happens. But you do not expect it to happen a month after you buy it.

Really feel Xbox should treat people that are thought as first buyers, with a bit more respect.

It's not like you can even jump ship and go to the PS4 in anger, because of the price drop you would make a huge loss on the console if selling it to get the PS4 instead.

 

When Microsoft cut the price of the original Xbox in 2002 (for the same reason – sluggish sales) it offered two free games to early adopters and an extra controller. So far, there has been no such “thank you package”.

 

i agree got my console just before christmas about 2 weeks after the console came out and now it's being reduced by £50 less than 4-5 months in with no thought of the people who brought the console. i really hope that they do something for us early adopters
but I really can't see it

 

Just got my xbox one last tuesday spent over £550 feel totally sick. had it less than a week and they announce a price cut. i could have saved that extra money, you think they could have announced the price cut before the titanfall beta considering its
a titanfall bundle and that's one of the main reasons i got the xbox one. I thought if there was going to be a price cut it would have been nearer Christmas not just after launch.

 

There must be.some way we.can complain.on this, I'm very *** off about this.

 

*laughing* Ya, you guys got it rough. Remember, the markets are considered different between the UK and US. We didn't get any free game for release (unless you include Killer Instinct... I don't), and there's no price drop announced for here, let alone
an included Titanfall. And yes, I'm a day-one early adopter. And yes, I feel slightly cheated, but moreso by the failings of the console itself, not the perks I haven't received.
