    Speech to Text for virtual keyboard removed?


    So when i broung up the keyboard to search up something, i use a mic to say stuff when i press the double box button. But when i came to search up something now, the buttion was removed on the keyboard! I really liked this feature, and I want to know what
    the heck happened to it. Please tell me!

    Checked both of these before even googling the problem, no luck. May be related to an update or preview

    Hi

    Perhaps the feature was turned off after a recent update?

    Below is a guide on how to check and enable it again if it is indeed turned off:

    Turn on game transcription

    On Xbox One

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select System > Settings > Ease of Access > Game transcription.
    2. To transcribe other players' voices into text, select Speech-to-text on.
    3. To have your chat text read aloud to other players, select Text-to-speech on. To choose the voice that other players will hear when your chat text is read aloud, select one of the available voices in the Text-to-speech voice menu.
    4. To have games read aloud certain words that appear on the screen, select Let games read to me.
    I already tryed that.

    I also have this problem and cannot find a solution. To make matters worse, Cortana settings still exist but do nothing but give a message about Cortana going away. This has something to do with a recent update for sure.
