Spectrum App Crashing Xbox Series X? (Is it just mine?)

Hello everyone. I came across a strange issue the past few days. Basically, I would play a game (any game), and suspend it (not close out the game but leave it running) by going to the home screen. So the game is still running, just suspended. After, I go into the Spectrum app, watch TV a bit, then go back to the game. When I do that, the entire Xbox Series X locks up. I cannot even go to the home screen because the Xbox button on the controller ceases to work. The physical button on the console itself, registers no response. The only way to "unfreeze" the console is through a hard reset/force restart (Holding power button on console for 5 seconds). Weird thing, is that this happens on EVERY suspended game (Quick resume supported or not), only coming FROM after using the Spectrum app. If I try to access suspended games after coming from any other video app (Netflix, Amazon Prime, AMC) it does NOT produce the same issue. I called Xbox support and they had me try to delete and reinstall the app, the "reset but keep games and apps" option in settings, etc...both of which I did, but it still does it. It does it with games that don't support Quick Resume (The Forgotten City, NBA) AND with games that are suspended and supports Quick Resume (Forza Horizon 4). Does anyone know why it could be doing this? Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone with both a Series X and Spectrum try and see what I am referring to? It's very odd. Just want to make sure that it is not my hardware and that force restarts that I've been having to do to unfreeze it is not damaging to my console! Thanks for any kind of help!
