How and where do I get through to microsoft that semi/full waterproof controllers would be a godsend. I am a parent to an 8yo autstic boy who is an xbox fanatic, unfortunately we have probems with the durablity of controllers especially when it comes
to fluids, I cannot stress how much waterproofing a controller would mean to us and probaby others as well. Ty

Xbox is currently looking for ideas and suggestions on creating hardware designed for Xbox. This is a great suggestion. I have provided the link to the Idea drive below for your convenience. I would recommend creating a post there where it will receive the

Toss that suggestion over to https://xboxideas.uservoice.com/ However fully waterproof a controller might be a bit hard.

In the future if this does happen however there are ways to salvage a controller. Removing the batteries and placing the controller in a dry place *In the sun if you can* and letting it sit 2 to 3 days can help. Warranties also are always a good idea.

, the fluid managed to get all the way down the mic port and into all the button bits, i put it in a dry place overnight but its pretty much screwed oh well
