spec ops: the line?

Quality game, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it as it did not seam that popular at launch... I bough the game for £5.00 and have played through multiple times to see different outcomes to choices.

 

^^ This..just rocked this out last night and I wanted to see everybit of the story and i wanted to hear every bit of intel. After completing this i swear i sat there and pondered for 5 minutes on the journey i just went through..glad i chose this game instead
of Just Cause 2 for the same price.

 

I played the demo ages ago and fell in love with it. I'm going to try and pick it up soon here. Doubt I'll be able to get it while it's on sale though.

$7.50 now is better than whatever it would be later.

 

the single player is good. no real reason to play MP. i have it and beat it. it has a couple of different endings depending on what choices you make during the game.

 

It's an excellent game imo. The story and the gameplay are really good.

 

This thread has made me want to purchase this game, I think it was like $12.78 which didn't look like a sale price though it's on the radar now so I'll see how much a physical copy is.

 

If you have a PS3 you can pick it up for £4 in the January sale on PSN, I don't know what that is in $$, just a friendly heads up...

 

I might have to try this game out now. I only heard about the multi-player.

The single-player is well-worth the money, especially since it isn't a poorly-made game with a good story. It's a shooter that actually handles extremely well.

it's a fantastic game, but i wouldn't go that far, it could've done with some better cover mechanics. i died countless times trying to vault over walls or escape a grenade and taking cover against another wall within the blast radius.

the levels also felt very...set-piecey. one minute you're on the road, then you're on a skyscraper overlooking a canyon that you had no hint of existing or even being possible earlier, now you're back on the road in the city and you can't tell that an epic
sand dune canyon is anywhere near you. looking at the level select map of everything made it feel a bit more sensible, but it all still feels very convenient and the work of a level designer, not of mother nature.

 

Yes...so worth $7. JUST DO IT.

 

Well the grenades are unrealistic.Enemies run TOWARDS them resulting in 3 kills with every frag thrown.lol
