spec ops: the line?

i'm looking at this 2k sale and i'm curious if 7.49 is a good deal for spec ops. i have very little interest in multiplayer, hence why i'm silver, so don't bother making that a selling point. i remember hearing good things when it came out, but 7 bucks is
a tad much for an impulse buy...

7 bucks is a steal. I would get it.

 

It's a really decent TPS and definitely worth playing, the Dubai setting and story are brilliant and it's not your usual good guys bad guys thing either, good gunplay, great set pieces just a great little game overall imo. As for the MP it's trash, Yager
(the devs) didn't want MP but 2K forced them to put it in so they farmed it out to some outside studio and made all the achievements for the SP.

 

Long enough, trust me.

The game has a great story --GREAT STORY--, great graphics and gameplay... at $7 I would definitely recommend it. At $35 I would recommend it.

Go pick it up, it's very much something you should play.

 

Only about 8 hrs or so tops but you need to play it multiple times as certain decisions change elements of the game and it's got 4 endings iirc. It's definitely a game worth replaying too.

 

sounds good, and a decent size of 5 gigs so it should be good to download over night...and since microsoft was "smart" enough to deny us the ability to pause downloads, i guess it gets first rights to download before dmc on ps3...

Imma let you finish Sword but Spec Ops the line has the best story of all time. OF ALL TIME!!11!1

 

It's awesome. It has great graphics, it's fun and it has a good story which is surprising for a TPS. I bought it new for 50 euro on release day and I felt like I got my monies worth.

 

I quite liked the sound track too , specially when it was belting out through me turtles .

 

Just started this last night and it's awesome...I see a lot of tribute to Apocalypse Now in this game which is sweet and playing this game gives me the same messed up feeling i got after seeing that movie..excellent game so far with a solid story and gameplay
is excellent..at $7.49 this shouldn't be passed up.

 

OK-So ppl here convinced me to buy this even though I wanted to save my money this month.Is the sale still up?
