    Speaking to Customer Support - How can I actually speak to someone?


    How can I actually get a call back or web chat?

    I have an Xbox Elite controller. It was faulty (thumbstick drift). Sent it back (to Germany). Replacement (not new) sent back. Shoulder button broken on it. The serial number on the replacement says it's out of warranty (had it less than a year). Can't
    find a single option on the contact page to get to actually speak to someone for help. Any suggestions greatly appreciated, because I've spent so long trying to figure this out, I'm starting to go MAD!

    The only way to get a call from Xbox Support is through the chat system, I found this phone number but it is only for Xbox USA: 1-800-469-9269 but they're only available during normal business hours, I understand that you are in Europe?

    Thank you for responding! I tried that and at the very top of the pop-up it says "Phone calls and chats aren't available for this issue."

    To contact Live support, kindly follow the steps below to contact our live support team:

    Visit to the following link: Contact us | Xbox Support

    • Please scroll down and check the lower left of the page and make sure it matches your country/region.
    • Scroll up and check the Contact Times of the support for available hours.
    • Select the "Contact Us" button
    • Select the following drop-down menu options in the following order:
    • What are you having trouble with? - Account & Profile
    • What's the issue? -I forgot my password
    The third box will ask you to describe your issue. We suggest something along the lines of "Compromised account solution." and then select the "Next" button. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.

    On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.
