    Speaker Audio Issue


    Afternoon

    When I game on my Xbox series x I use a pair of Astro A50's for my game sound and have speaker audio set to off so I don't get any sound through my TV which is my ideal set-up. Last night I used the NFL Gamepass App to watch the NFL so switched the speaker audio onto Stereo uncompressed as I have done many times to hear the audio through the TV which again worked perfectly however when I finished with the NFL Gamepass App and went to go back to gaming I was unable to turn the speaker audio off an kept getting an error message whenever I tried "Check your audio receiver" There was a problem using this settign. Make sure your audio receiver supports it. Also make sure to choose at least one audio setting, both cannot be off (0x80bd0009). Now I am aware both can't be off however I am unable to turn the speaker audio off whilst the headset audio is on and normally have to turn speaker audio off before being able to select the correct headset audio.

    You may run into an issue with audio. Most monitors dont have speakers but some do. I have a monitor with a line out that I run to a USB speaker. The HDMI carries audio from the Xbox to the monitor and then the line out cord carries it to the speaker.
    The other option is a head set for audio.

    I have not had that issue. I have an issue with the game not being in surround sound. The game just works through my left and right speaker, subwoofer and center speaker. No rear audio whatsoever.

    Hooray i found a solution for the audio issue! Just change the speaker option to Hi Fi
