Speak to me, Xbox One!

I think enabling speech for the Kinect can't be overstated, and although the articles referenced in the posts above primarily relate to the windows phone, I'm encouraged that MS is looking into bringing it to the Xbone. Here are some more reasons why it
should be a top priority:

Spoken commands are much, much faster than scrolling through menus.

Interaction with characters (beyond simple commands) in video games becomes a reality (imagine Master Chief in Halo talking to you).

Uninterrupted gaming while accessing other functions is possible.

Inquiries can be more varied, specific and again, faster.

Personalization through feedback will create a bond with the OS, thereby instilling a sense of loyalty and affection in user. (In other words, you'll like your Xbone more when it can talk to you.)

Value for the Kinect becomes more apparent, as well as emphasizing the superiority of the Xbone over other consoles.

I'm sure there are others I haven't thought of, and would be interested in ideas from other gamers.
