    Spartan Total Warrior/Xbox One X


    Hello,

    I own an Xbox One X, and I found out I could play original Xbox games. So I bought a few one is Spartan Total Warrior made by Sega.

    I was wondering if there is an update coming out for the game so I can play it?

    It was such a classic hack 'n slash.

    Hi, unfortunately the backwards compatibility program was pretty extensive but it didn't cover every game ever made for previous generations of the Xbox. Here's a complete list of all the games it did reach:

    Sadly, I don't see your game on the list and there will be no new games added to it. Xbox recently announced they were moving people working on backwards comp on to the next generation of the machine, Project Scarlett.

    Not all original xbox games was converted for backward compatibility. As licence rights can prevent it from being added.

    Seeing as the backward compatibility team has been moved to assist with the next console we wont be seeing any new games added.

    Thank you for the feedback, I will save the disk. I was also wondering a big selling point for me is hardware. Will Project Scarlett kick "PS5's" behind?
