Spaced version of my gamertag

Is there anyone else that can try to help?

The Xbox database doesn't recognize a space as a different character, so two tags with the same letters cannot exist except when a glitch/exploit was used on the Android Xbox app to create them. If you don't believe me, go to change your gamertag and add
spaces between the letters. It will say it is unavailable.

Who is best to contact to get the glitched/illegal tag reset because the live chat support don't have a clue.

We can confirm that this is not a thing that can happen. The information ngocphi is sharing with you accurate. There would have to be a very subtle difference in the gamertag like iIl vs ill. They look they same but one is ili and the other ill. It is impossible
for the same gamertag to be associated with two different Microsoft accounts.

You can't confirm it. The duplicated gamertag was created with a GLITCH. I am not disputing the fact that it isn't possible to register with the same gamertag as somebody else. That's why it is a glitched gamertag.

Xbox doesn't recognize spaces in gamertags as characters. So in the eyes of Xbox, "Mister Taurus" is the same tag as "M ister Tau rus", "Mist erTaurus" etc... spaces do not matter. You will not be able to register the gamertags with different spaces because
you already have "Mister Taurus". Does that make sense? Try it yourself, go here https://account.xbox.com/en-GB/changegamertag and check if any spaced variation of your tag is available. It won't
be. Spaces DO NOT MATTER.

There was a glitch with the Android Xbox app when creating new accounts that allowed people to register gamertags with differently spaced existing gamertags. This is well documented if you Google it quickly. So if my gamertag is "Mister Taurus" I can now register
with "Mi ster Ta urus" for example, whereas normally it isn't allowed. But through a glitch this was made possible.

Now my problem is that someone made a differently spaced gamertag to mine. Xbox sees the characters as being the same, so that makes it a duplicate. And I want their glitched copy of my gamertag to be reset.

Is that clearer now?

Lots of these gamertags obtained through a glitch get reset in batches. Guess I'll just wait it out then...

it's not glitched

You just understanding how it works

You must wait for the name to be freed up exam ple has to wait till you free up the name since you freed it you must wait till the system resets

Which cna be 48 hours instant or 3 years for all you know

Check your PMs, and search for the gamertags yourself. There is two differently spaced tags of my brother's tag. I'm not mistaking this, it's not difficult. I have changed tags between my accounts before, it does not take 48 hours at all.

Please can someone else try to help.

Xbox gamertag.comis an unofficial 3rd party and should never be treated as offical

The only way to check names is by changing your gamertag that's the only answer you should rely on

You use the friend search on xbox not a 3rd party site

3rd party sites don't take into consideration the spaces are the same

Sooo... check on the Xbox apps, you'll still find it the same way?
