SOUTH PARK : the stick of truth (XBOX ONE)

has this been sorted yet, because I would also like to play stick of truth but I pre ordered using credit card, so if the other way works then I'll cancel and pay that way... All I want to do is play stick of truth before Fbw is released.

 

has there been a resolution to this issue?

 

I would also like to know if we still do have to wait for the launch

 

Any word on this? These kinds of issues, that are almost impossible to get a straight answer on, make me want to smash my console and switch to PC sometimes. This is almost one of those.

 

Is anybody going to give us an answer. I want to play SoT already. Times running out!

 

Glad this forum exists. I combed the internet for this same issue and this was the only forum specifically related to Xbox One store purchases of The Fractured But Whole.

I just called Microsoft Support to confirm with them that Stick of Truth will not be released until October 17th when The Fractured But Whole is released. Doesn't make a ton of sense, but if you've pre-ordered the game, there is still time to cancel your
order and potential purchase the game through another retailer that will release The Stick or Truth at the time or purchase. I can confirm that Amazon.com is following the same practice as the Xbox One or Microsoft Store(s).

Combing the interwebz for answers its looking like it was possible to download instantly after pre ordering on any system but xbox quit it (I'm guessing people pre ordering then canceling just for The Stick of Truth) while if you buy through ubisoft or playstation
still get it. I was just charged the 65$ and still no SoT but after talking to an xbox staff member who seemed equally confused as me he finally let me know we get it on the release of Fractured but Whole instead of the promised instant play. I could be wrong
but seems like we wait till the 16th at midnite.

 

I'm from the UK and it's 01:01 here, still no Stick of Truth.

 

Same, I'm from Sweden and for now I'm just enjoying the new game but if it is not fixed by tomorrow I am going to contact support. It seems instead of giving us the product we paid for they have "re-released" entirely new versions on launch that includes
TSOT and prompts to pay again.
