Source of issue?

I don't know if anyone from microsoft will actually get this but:

Whenever I turn my uPnP settings on or off, the xbox will log me in for less than 10 seconds and then boot me off.

Not sure if this helps or even matters.

The source of the Fifa hack!!!

Yeah, I don't think it was an EA issues. They've just gotten linked to it since so much of the fraudulent purchases are FIFA content since it can be monetized. So the only thing they've done wrong is making that type of DLC content that can be easily converted
to cash. That's probably given hackers more motivation to steal accounts. Before it was just people wanting to steal points and buy content to transfer to other gamer tags. Now you have those normal hackers who were always around plus people doing it to
make cash. Which might partly explain this recent spike in stolen accounts.

 

Could powerstate be source of issues

Hello all. I'm a brand new Xbox One Owner. I've already run into some issues with the OS locking up, as lot of it seem to stem from switching back and forth from twitch broadcasts to games or other apps. A few of my lockups centered around twitch, however
I believe it's a posibility my system may have been stuck trying between installing/updating a game at the same time. During my investigation, I noticed that the hard drive seemed to be thrashing, especially with the console powered off in the (always on power
state). Anyone with a PC background knows what hd trashing is. I would notice the thrashing continued while playing other games, especially during cut scenes. . I attributed this to a OS lock up between multitasking Apps/Games, and somehow still being stuck
when powered off in the "Always on Power state" by excessive accessing of the hard disk. Almost like a program freeze/lock up. The best solution for me was to change the power state to full shut down, after a proper 10 sec powercyle recommend by tech support
on this forum. It is suggested it takes 45 seconds to boot up, (however don't believe that is true) and I lose the ability to wake the box using voice commands, but for now it seems to offer a better stable system. What are you experience with changing the
power state?

 

If you're having connection issues, quite often a hard reboot will resolve this issue, simply hold your finger on the on/off button for around 8-10 seconds (the light will go off) Then turn it back on.
