    Sounds coming in and out


    Hello,

    My son received an Xbox one this past Christmas. Has been working great until yesterday. The sound is cutting in and out. Have tried a different HDMI cable and same thing is happening. Also happens on a different TV, so it has to be something with
    the console. Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thanks for the response. Ok so here is the deal. I tried using different games and DVD's with no luck. There is no sound coming out. I have used the regular TV and it does work. So regular TV is working fine. The Wii is also working and the PS3 is working
    as well. The issue is only with the 360. I have disconnected all cables and let it sit for a few minutes. I reconnect everything and nothing. I have changed the HDMI cables from slot 1 to slot 2 and still no luck.

    Stone, do you possibly have another tv to test it out on? Also, do you possibly have an component cable for the 360? The red white and yellow cable? Maybe swap out the hdmi cable for that as a test. Or maybe bring it over to a friends house and try everything
    there.

    Yes I made sure the HDMI cable was secure at both ends.

    As RedOneFlyer said; I would suggest trying a different DVD. If that does not work, try a game. If that doesnt work, it may be an issue with either the Xbox 360 console itself, the cord, or the TV itself.

    Hey there StoneColdCesar. Before you changed DVD's was the sound working alright? Have you tried other DVD's since it stopped working and still no sound? Have you tried games? Also, can you post what steps you have taken to try and resolve the issue? Seeing
    what you have tried will help us figure out what might be going on.
