Soundproblems after Update from 20.04.2017

Hi, I had an update with nearly 400 MB.

I played the day before Forza Horizon 2 Storm Island. Everything was fine.

After the update I have Sound issues.

Sometimes everything works fine for a short time. really short, some seconds.

I hear the announcer or the GPS voice in my front Speakers. Sometimes they just vanish after they startet to say something. Sometimes the Music is reduced, because the GPS voice is saying something, but I can't hear the voice. And so on.

I have Sound, but it doesn't work proberly.

I use as an A/V Receiver a Marantz 6011. Use a high Quality HDMI cable. AND everything worked just fine BEVORE this update.

I started the console several times, I started the Receiver several times, but the Problem stays.

What can I do?

Hey there. If your console is making odd noises, you will want to submit your console for repair: Xbox 360 Repair.

Hey Guys, thanks for u´re help. Got some funny news. I played Nike Sports kinect on Monday, same Porblems than before, but i also played Rayman with my girlfriend over 4 hours last evening and i got no problems maybe 2 strange noises in the hole time. I
didn´t change anything or disconnect or something. Really crazy, course i got the soundproblems with rayman all days before. Dont know i will see how it goes on, Thanks for your held!

Thank you for the detailed information. However, I'm a little confused by the number "20.04.2017"? This is not an OS version number, but appears to be a date. Yet, the date of the last open update is "04/13/2017"
. Have you received a subsequent update since April 13th of this year? And are you part of the

Xbox Insider/Preview Program ?

Seems i have the same problem, the patchnotes says it will fix on Xbox One the Soundproblems with the missing sounds, i still have this problems.

Same problems with the FPS and strange graphics glitches.

When will the digital Version get the update?

I would think it would be a solder joint or something similar that isn't too great and the heat generated from use is causing a digital signal to become attenuated which is causing the loss of sound signal you are receiving. If this is the case repair is
your only course of action.

Hey there Move! I would try using component cables and see if the weird sounds persist. That will give us a hint as to whether the issue lies with your HDMI port or not. Let us know and we'll go from there! ^_^

Yes she got really enough space. Stand free on a board just on her feets. And it isn´t to warm always about 20 degrees in the room. I ´ve got the x since xmas now and used it the same way all the time.

Yes from the console, dont get any problems with some other device like my blueray player or if i watch a movie from harddrive or so. It must be the consol and i really thing it is maybe a voltage problem, when the fan starts maybe the soundcard din´t get
enough current or something like that.

Course it comes faster if i used HDMI, must be course the datarate is much bigger and the fan have to start eraly or so and there is more datastream to handle.
