    Hi guys I bought a lg 27ud58 4k monitor today I've managed to get it working in 4k though I'm getting no sound through the monitor at all has anyone else had this option

    Gaming on a PC Monitor

    I use a monitor, and the VGA on my LG monitor looks better than the HDMI on my LG HDTV. Both full HD and 22". Make sure your monitor is high res (720p or 1080p). I actually bought my monitor for £110 and it's brilliant, who says gaming has to be expensive.

    VGA or HDMI?

    Ok so I have the choice between my
    LG 22" LCD Monitor     which supports just VGA, or I can use my
    LG 22" HDTV    . They are both TN panels. The monitor for some reason seems better than the HDTV but the black levels are a bit off on the monitor. What do you game on a Monitor or TV? do you prefer VGA or HDMI?

    Hi,

    While this is a 'Gaming monitor' it does not have any built in speakers, this why there is no sound. You can attach headphones though.

    I believe you can split, or rather 'extract', audio using a some kind of HDMI audio splitter. I've never used one though so can't advise what to buy. Sorry.

    There are lots of LG 24 Flatron monitors, we need the full model number of your display. This information can be found on the rear of the monitor. without that we are a bit limited on the information we can provide.

    When you connect your console to the monitor, did you change the input source on the monitor?

    Also bear in mind that many monitor do not have internal speakers so you would need to output this to another sound source.
