Sound Through Headset Lower/Less Bass after Latest Update

Hello all.

I am going to try my best to explain this. So after the XBOX ONE had an update a week or so ago. I've noticed a vast difference is sound quality using my Turtle Beach XO Seven's. I can turn the volume up all the way and still not get as good detail as it
did before. For example in GTA V when I had the volume near max I could here the engine idling as well as everything else near my car (voices, other cars, etc...). Another example in GTA once more, the voices. Even at max volume the voices are not as loud
or detailed as there were before. They seem to be a lot more faint. GTA is not the only game affected by this. Call of Duty the gun sounds, footsteps, and other things don't pack a punch like they used to.

I know it's not the headset because "Layers of Fear" had top-noch sound. So it might be the games themselves or do I need to update the controller?

Dolby Digital update Xbox One, when?

The latest update, for me anyways, has magically removed any bass coming from the XB1. I've tried using an HDMI cable and fiber optic cable, plugged directly into my almost-brand-new receiver, and I get nothing... music sounds crappy and games are noticeably
less powerful, especially battlefield 4

 

Gun sounds any better?

Just crank up the bass boost on ya headset,will sound cushty then.

 

I would try to update the controller and see if that fixes it.

 

i have the xo7 pro's and i have simular issues at the moment, also most of the time i have to change the sound preset on the adapter to actually get sound out of the headphones or i just get silence or bad static, been happening since the last update.

 

Seems to have corrected itself. Past two days the sound is back to what is was before the update. Let's hope it stays this way.
