Sound stuttering during gameplay

Thought it was a headphone issue, but started through sound on TV. Every so often the sound starts to stutter, lasts anywhere from 3- 10 seconds, found it happens on project cars and witchet 3, please help as its annoying as hell!

Sound stuttering during gameplay

Hey, folks. Hoping someone can help me with this.

The sound from my XBO has been breaking up and stuttering and lag lately when I play games. It usually seems to do this when something else is loading and a sound effect plays. Like if something has to render quickly during a sound effect, such as a creature
leaping through a window (new model ender + breaking glass sound).

I first noticed it playing AC: Unity but wrote it off as a game bug since it was pretty notoriously buggy. However, I've since encountered it in Killer Instinct, Evolve and Master Chief Collection. Every game I've played so far since Unity actually.

I use the optic audio out to a mixer and the mixer seems fine hooked up elsewhere. I haven't changed any other settings.

The only other thing I can think of that may have caused it was the recent patch, as before the patch all I was playing was Unity. It's possibly the sound issues in Unity were just bugs with that game, and the universal sound issues encountered since were
patch related.

Has anyone else noticed these issues? Doing a bunch of searches, all I can find is scenario where a cable box is hooked up to the XBO, but mine is not. It's just a simple setup of XBO to HDMI with optic audio going to a mixer.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

 

WWE2K15 Random Gameplay Stuttering

WWE2K15 is the only game I own on disk for XB1 so, my ability to test has been limited.

In my game sessions, the stuttering only occurs during gameplay itself and not during cut-scenes, character entrances, or on in game menus,.

I also recorded a 43 minute live stream on Twitch of gameplay. The last match (3 vs 3) shows the most consistent stuttering.

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that resolves the issue?

 

Tried your suggestion, it's still doing it!

 

It could be an issue with the game itself then. Try deleting them and redownloading/installing them. If the issue continues then it is a problem with the game.

 

Deleted and reinstalled, still doing it?
