    Sound settings gone


    I got an update last night for my Xbox 1 and when i joined a game it was really loud and i could not hear my friends and when i went to turn down the volume i noticed the mixer volume settings were gone. is this part of the update and is there a way to turn
    the volume down through the mixer because i tried turning the game down to the lowest volume and it was still louder then my friends so i basically can hear no one when i play and this is an issue. please do some thing about this.

    i know this sounds obvious (sorry) but have you gone to setting and adjusted the chat mixer (slidders) settings?

    xbox tv problem

    i have gone onto my sound menu>broadcast audio options and the audi format is MPEG and i cant change it. and all my sound settings are standard

    Xbox one - 5.1 via ARC/HDMI?

    Have you gone into the audio settings on the xbox one and set it to output 5.1 via HDMI?

    Unless this is set, it will only output stereo sound.

    Hi NE0, try this and see what happens. Go to System, Console settings, Audio, Ratings collection sound. If that is enabled, choose disabled and see if that sound is gone.

    Yes i have attempted that. I have gone in the “chat mixer” settings, then clicked “mute all other sounds” and i can still hear the game sounds.

    Have you gone into settings/tv/troubleshooting and checked the box for surround sound beta. this should activate the 5.1..
