Sound Setting

Everytime i turn the xbox one on i have to go to sound settings and change it from stereo uncompressed to 5.1 uncompressed. Getting kinda annoying. Plus it is showing multi ch in on my receiver on that setting, not sure why. Receiver is denon x4000 so no
there is no problem with any codec.

Sound settings gone

I got an update last night for my Xbox 1 and when i joined a game it was really loud and i could not hear my friends and when i went to turn down the volume i noticed the mixer volume settings were gone. is this part of the update and is there a way to turn
the volume down through the mixer because i tried turning the game down to the lowest volume and it was still louder then my friends so i basically can hear no one when i play and this is an issue. please do some thing about this.

 

issue with sound setting

my TV does allow passing raw/pcm thru digital cable, and I have checked to make sure it's passing raw data.

With Dolby Digital enabled on 360, I was able to simply pass the raw data over my TV digital output and let my receiver perform the decoding.

So I kinda assumed it would work the same way with One.

My receiver is not performing any decoding, however, when I have the same setting hook up with the One.

But ya, there is no other option with optical out either, so guess I will wait and see.

 

Oh and having issues with DNS. It wont do automatic DNS gives an error, Manual DNS doesnt work right. I enter primary and secondary and it puts primary as 0.0.0.0 and makes the secondary what i put in for primary.

 

I am not sure why the console would be changing audio mode. Is the console on instant on? I have seen a few instances of DNS showing all zeros when a local network is running IPv6. What ISP and what modem and router do you have?
