    Sound set ups

So I usually have alot to contribute when it comes to technical conversations, however I no knowledgebase when it comes to configuring sound systems. I bought a sonos sound bar yesterday and I hooked it up. Itcurrently starts with a hdmi cord from the xbone
plugged into the tv and the sound comes out the optical / toslink of the tv which is hooked directly to the sound bar, tv speakers have since been disabled. Now heres the question, are there alternate sound configurations I should be using besides uncompressed
stereo ? the sound bar is the only audio source currently till I add on to it. I have no clue about the limitations DTS or dolby digital. Also I noticed on the 360 it has a sound mode called dolby digital with WMA which i also have no clue about

    :)

If the back of that cabinet is wide open and not something like a piece of a hardboard with a cutout for cables then the 360 will do just fine there. Air will be taken in from the sides and exhausted out and up through the back. [/quote]

You would be surprised, at how air flow is blocked, at the back of cabinets etc..

That amplifier, would also, cause heat on the wood, that the console is sitting on & heat the console, from below too..

Stereo uncompressed is what is right for you.
